Hello, RPW! I've been browsing this forum for a while and I want to ask you guys something.

So I'm young, still a teenager. Since I was a little kid I've always wanted to have a job in medicine (radiologist) but I'm just wondering if pursuing this would make me less traditional or something.

I want to have kids (but it's fine if my future partner doesn't want too), but I'm scared that it might affect how I would raise my kids and how I would be with my partner.

Would I be too busy to take care of them? Would my career consume me? I'm scared about those things. I feel this won't happen, as I've had multiple elders in my life be working yet have children. This includes my parents, but my mom works at home. But I should state that usually their jobs are in accounting and it's not as time-consuming as medicine. So would this affect the traditional life I'm looking for?
