Sexist Double Standards

A woman in Germany just stabbed an elderly man and people were justifying it because he touched her ass. People are so psychotic over women its mind boggling. Chasing and stabbing a 60 year old man isn't the win they think it is.

Double standards are annoying because it often comes from women who be screeching about equality but still want double standards.

I can accept different treatment from someone if they apply it fairly for example if a woman insists her man has to be the protector and provider but she also holds herself to the same standard (such as being a good homemaker and a good wife) but if she's insisting he plays his traditional role but doesn't want to play her own she looks hypocritical.

And I'm fed up of the dehumanisation argument. Its like they don't know what that word means they call it dehumanising and objectified if a female character is attractive and shown as such but say nothing when men are literally shirtless and shown to be attractive as well. I saw someone say Catwoman is sexist and dehumanised because her costume is skintight as if 90% of superheros don't wear spandex. Superman, Batman, Green Lantern and many other male heroes look like their costumes were painted on. It just comes with superhero territory. The few who don't have skintight costumes are magical heroes.

Its like they like to moan about everything, anything not catering to them is not seeing them as human because that sounds worse rather than saying no one is listening to their tantrums. I've hardly seen any real female dehumanisation or objectification beyond just being something feminists don't approve of.

I find it depends on the issue. When it comes to men dying in war or in the workplace, we’ve certainly seen male disposability arguments such as Hillary Clinton’s famous speech. (I.e. men’s lives matter less). It’s similar with issues of women’s safety, focusing on women’s healthcare, etc.).

The argument I usually hear for women deserving lighter criminal sentencing is the women don’t have agency argument.

Regarding discrimination against men in general the argument I usually hear is it’s needed to balance years of disadvantaging women, an argument often made in revisionist history patriarchy theory. An argument I’ve started throwing back at feminists with this is that by the same logic, only women should have to register and be drafted into military service for the next 250 years, to balance the discrimination against men in this area to date.

I’ve learned that if a woman calls you a misogynist for making a comment that doesn’t reflect well on women based off their own behaviour she’s probably projecting. As she herself is likely a misogynist.

Yeah, well if we are creating a more "equal" society where Women can work and do all that jazz, then yes, if were are eschewing traditional gender roles (thank you Archer) then let's do away with the "We must protect women and be gentlemen" aspect of it. Oh no, that double standard benefits them though, they wouldn't want that. Ugh. Men though? How dare you call out me being an empowered woman and a simultaneous victim all at once! Like the person below said, you want to be traditional, be traditional, you want to be Feminazi, be Feminazi, but don't try to hug the convenient parts of both. You can not do A THING for your husband, yet he's still supposed to be your protector and provider.

And like when women say (My ex wife all the time said this) "You hate women, but you wanna sleep with them?" Um...pot calling the kettle black? Ya'll despise men (normie, not 6'4 men, who are poor), but the ones who can do something for you, are attractive, and don't question you are the exceptions, GET REAL. Look, I'm no Right Winger, but in this environment? No wonder Trump won. I've said it before and I'll say it again, poor working class Men are SICK of being the punching bags for women and society overall. Two studies examined double standards in attitudes toward appropriate roles and behaviors for women and men. A double standard is an attitude that more strongly supports rights, freedoms, and opportunities for one sex more than the other. Double standards were measured using a "mirror-image" time-delay method that minimizes social desirability concerns and a "mirror-image" simultaneous method that increases social desirability concerns. In addition, participants' beliefs about the attitudes of the "typical male" and "typical female" were measured. Results indicated that overall participants endorsed a pro-female bias. Female participants endorsed pro-female double standards in five domains; male participants endorsed pro-female double standards in three domains, and no double standards in two domains. Participants believed that overall, the "typical female" endorsed pro-female double standards and the "typical male" endorsed pro-male double standards'

Lol the fact that you have to cherry pick such specific examples to find instances of sexist double standards harming men (it's been pretty clear that it's much worse in the other direction) is so typical of a sub devoted to self pitying and cry baby behavior.
