This is definitely a question you ask your attorney about. Ideally, you don't get a subpoena, but instead the teacher willingly comes in to testify. But as others have already said, it's unlikely she'll do that.

Yes, a subpoena could compel her to testify, but forcing someone to do something isn't going to help you get the testimony you want. You'll probably get it, as the teacher will be under oath and compelled to tell the truth (or plead the 5th, although I doubt that'll happen). However, even if they testify to everything you expect, you have really pissed off a person you may need to rely on in the future or who may say negative things about you to other teachers or even school administrators. In other words, you might win this battle, but it could make it harder to win your war.

no and if you compel your kids SCHOOL TEACHER you may well have a hostile witness

Teachers will typically decline to provide statements or testify per school district policies. Might be different where you are, but if teachers testified for custody cases they'd be out a lot of time around me.

I had our parents-as-teachers lady testify at the final trial. It did wonders. It showed that I was concerned for my kids' educations and she testified on the cleanliness of my home and how the kids interacted with me. The judge was very impressed, and I got primary custody.

No one wants to be dragged into divorce court, especially to testify. Temp order hearings are usually quick anyway (a few hours) so not much time allocated for testimony beyond the parents.

But if you want to piss everyone off in the room, you drag them to court... needing them to get a good outcome after doing so is a bad bet. If there are school records that say that (for instance some tablet used to sign in / sign out kids), maybe get the records, but if you can't do it that way, just say you do that in your testimony and go from there.

You could use your emails to/from teachers to show involvement.
