It’s not hard to tell what makes a woman attractive to men, generally speaking; that being her physical attributes.

But what, if anything, is the male equivalent to this? Is there such thing as a similar “one size fits all” for male attractiveness to women?

My current conclusion is this:

Generally speaking, they’re after a man who they can respect/feel safe in the presence of AND one who offers an emotionally engaging experience for the woman in question.

This assumption helps explain why so many women don’t seem to have physical “types”, or go after guys who (judging by societal standards) are bums, and why some model-looking dudes don’t do well while objectively less good looking dudes can do very well for themselves. It also shows why thinking from a checklist mentality so rarely results in actual attraction.
