Something that help me was, reading a book on body language. It's often said that only 20% of what we actually communicate is verbal. The rest is tone, body language.

This help me because I became more aware of what my body language was say, but also their body language was say.

Also I became more direct with what I was saying, I stop beating around the bush and was more straight forward with what I was looking for.

My favorite book that helped me what "how to unfuck yourself"

To add, I think your issue is that your not "apply what you learn" like you have all the tools you need but your afraid to get them dirty. Catch my drift

Are you just doing the same thing over and over again until you are getting tired of it? It might be good to stop pickup and start investing the time into other things now. Maybe you feel like you've mastered pickup and you're starting to get into a routine and doing pickup for the sake of picking up.

What you can do is maybe you can put pickup in the backseat and only use it when you really like a particular person. Switiching from a "learning and mastery" perspective to a "skill" perspective.

You're basically done! You can get girls whenever you want and any improvement from now on is just incremental with diminishing returns.

Examine concepts that you already know.

The rut itself makes you appear less preselected. It's why it's so easy to hookup when you already have women but almost impossible when you don't.

I find the best way to negate this is to just operate how you normally would, but have wing women to go out with. I cherish my few platonic female friends because they ain't afraid to dress up nice and come out and have a good time, and I don't even need game, the girls want to "steal" me from the hot chick.

Yeah man have slipped into a bit of one myself recently - it's a bit different for me though as I believe it's firmly rooted in online dating.

I can meet girls at parties, flirt, chat shit, give off great vibes, have them hugging me and saying they like hanging out with me etc. - last one was two weeks ago and I came away from it feeling like a social baller. But then I met a girl last night via online dating and it felt so much more difficult because you can't just live in the environment or move in the interaction naturally, and have to instead be in this sterile introduction mode where you're asking about each other, you have to be a good listener, you're trying to judge her body language, etc.

I can see how dudes get jaded with dating women in online dating. It's such an endeavour to get the match, chat flawlessly, not get flaked on in text, and then deliver the inch-perfect first date where the girl is expecting butterflies, romance, etc like some hallmark holiday film. It's weird.

For you, I think you need to break the mould and not get caught in a routine, because that will make you jaded and keep you overthinking the process. If you can get into other social environments, chatting to people, maybe the odd girl if it happens, then you'll forget about the rut or executing perfectly.
