Abuse done by mothers is dismissed.

Accusation of parental alienation of the mother started by the father, as in the father is the accused one of wrongdoing.

In my place (Hong Kong, following the British common law), if a couple commited crime togther, the court will automatically pressume the wife was forced by the husband and therefore husband will be fully and solely responsible for it. This law was abolished just few decades ago.

I knew someone who claimed her ex was being abusive at child trade offs because he'd slam the car door, and he knnoooowsss how sensitive to sound she is.

She was constantly complaining about evvvverything he'd do. And like... I'm not saying the dude wasn't potentially a massive asshole behind closed doors, but he seemed to be acting completely normal to me.

I don't understand why everyone is confused about this. When claims that the mother is abusing her child are made, these abuse claims are often dismissed. When someone- usually the father- claims that the mother is trying to alienate the child against the father- those alienation claims were prioritized.
