How does one do emotional acknowledgement properly, or how does one pivot from it in order to maintain tension or playfulness? Especially in arguments, or in moments of contesting frame , shit tests or LMRs. I feel this is what most women define as the "high EQ".

Being appeasing in these situations bad because you're being a doormat/not masculine. Being dismissive is bad because you just come off as an inconsiderate jerk and also ruins tension. Being logical is again very bad and causes usually a conflict (how dare you disregard my emotions and bring logic into this discussion) type of deal, not to mention logic ruins tension. So what's the proper way to do it?
