Trump's "Only two genders" executive law is harmful to men.

It should be only one gender. Human.

Conservatives are going back to traditionalism, and putting more responsibilities on men, while as men we still do not have any authority. We're going to have to continue selective service, higher physical requirements on male service members and police, male only combat roles etc. Responsibility without authority is slavery.

I voted for the Republican party. There are things I like about them, like less taxes. But this is what I don't like about the Republicans/Conservatives. Trying to go back to the old times, putting all the responsibilities of society on men, but not giving us the authority we had before.

• Before, only the men had to go war because only the men could vote. Now, men still have to sign up for Selective Service and women vote to send men to war.

• Before, only the men could open bank accounts and start businesses because the men were held financially responsible for the family. Now there are tax funded diversity and inclusion programs that give unfair advantages to women in the workplace, but still men are expected to be financially responsible for the family.

• Before, men were expected pay alimony because women were expected to keep the man happy and take care of house work. Now the man does half the house work and still pays alimony (because women usually choose only higher earning men). After divorce, no one is doing his house work anymore, and he still has to provide financial support.

• Before, a man got custody of the children because he's the head of the household. Now, men lose custody of their children, can't see them, and still pay child support.

Responsibility, without authority.

The only thing I like about the liberals is the rejection of traditional gender roles. It I unlikely that men will get back the authority that they had before. So the responsibilities should be reduced. With the liberal rejection of gender roles, it was moving that way. I thought that with the acceptance of women in to combat roles, and transsexual people in the military and sports, the old gender roles were bound to go away.

With no more gender roles:

• Women will have to register for Selective Service, or it will have to be completely abolished.

• The physical standards for military, police and fire services will be the same for men and women.

• There will be no more women's sports, where women might get paid approx the same (reminder of the US female soccer teams) for sub-standard performance. They will have to play with men to get the same pay.

• There would be no diversity programs, because everyone is the same gender.

• Marriage will cease to exist, and the unfair treatment of divorced men will cease along with it.

I thought this was the direction it was going. Unfortunately, the Republicans want to bring the traditional gender roles back. But they are/can not being the traditional gender authority back with it.
