Note that your previous interest is not mad at you. She's mad at her friend, telling her friend, "How could you do this to me."

This reveals that your previous interest considers you a pansy-ass loser. In her mind, you didn't bag her best friend because you're awesome. Her best friend bagged you, violating their friendship. She doesn't think you're capable of getting women, because you never got her.

Notice how quickly you banged her friend compared to her (We'll call her April) . 6 months versus 1 night. Yeah, her friend is actually into you. April isn't. Who knows why? She was just using you for validation that she's desirable. Now that April's friend had sex w you, you won't be needing to pursue April that much ala no more validation. That's why she's pissed. So why did she keep going out with you if she was always in "unwanted" sexual situations with you? I see one of two possible scenarios here.

1) Because she had you on orbit, and she was very happy about it.

2) She thought she was playing hard-to-get, and she didn't consider the idea that there might be competition.

The first scenario is honestly the most likely. She had an orbiter, her friend took away her validation toy, suddenly she wants what she can't have. In this scenario, you're a prop in their little drama. I'll stress that this is most likely.

As for the second scenario, the one time women start deviating from AWALT is when they try to pull game of their own. Luckily for us, they have little impetus or desire to do this (since male attention comes so easily). However, you occasionally get the girl who thinks she has to go to drastic measures to prove she's not a slut.

I dated a girl like this in college before I really knew anything about RP. We'd been hanging out through mutual friends, but she hung with a "nerdier" crowd than I did. We met once at a small get together and I told her to come by my fraternity party the next night. We got very drunk and slept together. The next morning she was cold. No morning sex, barely a peck goodbye. Obviously she regretted showing her cards so early to someone she thought was a "player" (her words, not mine). The next few months she made me go through a whole song and dance. We'd get together but she'd turn me down. She'd flake on me. Etc... Of course I was still seeing other girls. One night photos of me making out with another girl surfaced on FB. Suddenly she dropped the whole act. We were fucking several times a week within days. I found out later that she had basically been taking directives on how to act from a friend of hers. She was purposefully making no sense and confusing me, but forgot that while it did make me want her more, it also made me search harder for other girls. She forgot about the competition, and when she remembered that it still existed, she got upset and reverted back to the one method she knows to keep a guy's attention.

Either way, your chances of fucking this girl are definitely better now, but I guess the important thing to remember is that you really shouldn't care.
