She broadcasted that to all guys, not just you. She wants all the attention. The question would be: will she reciprocate to all the guys’ attentions? Probably not, it’d be time consuming.

People (men included) always say they want this and that, but in reality their behavior can sway to the other way because they’re easily triggered. Just look at how a guy wants a submissive girl, but once he got ignored he will chase her down to hell and willing to do everything for her in order to “conquer” her.

People say one thing but do another, which is typical because they don’t really know themselves real well. Women are like that, too. “I want a nice guy like you (but not you, obviously)” yet they always end up with the so-called bad boys.

Sounds like she does have attraction for you but you’re not making her feel wanted enough for her to reciprocate more.

I was giving this guy so many signals that I’m interested, eye contact, smiling, proximity etc.

He would give eye contact back and touch me but always took long to reply.

I was insanely attracted to him, fantasized sexually about him constantly but his attitude of “don’t care if this works out or not” was not enough for me to do anything with him.

So I started avoiding him. Even though I was initially very attracted. A lot of girls are turned on by men who seem enthusiastic and want the girl just as much. A lot of us very feminine girls like men who go after what they want. I’m not a hunter, I’m very girly and if my guy doesn’t have this primal urge to be with me then I’m not going to be interested

Sounds like she’s going to get bored. Why do you think women’s romance novels are filled with men who are obsessed with the woman. Yes it’s creepy and annoying if we aren’t attracted to the guy but amazing when we are. She’s attracted, go for it!!

1-2 hours is not really “taking your time”. That’s like 5-6 hours.

If you respond every 1-2 hours every day, your interest is known.

Every now and then respond quicker and go back and forth a few times in an hour or two.

You’re overthinking it. Girls don’t really mean literally obsessed. They mean they want to see consistent high interest and you’re doing that. You don’t want to go too overboard, especially when it sounds early on.

The only other thing is if she’s consistently responds quickly, you can match her rate without too much worry. So if she responds in 5 minutes it’s better to respond quicker than to wait 2 hours. In that case you’re showing significantly lower interest than her, and it’s ok every now and then because you have a life, but you don’t want to do that all of the time. Conversely, if she responds 2 hours later all the time and you constantly respond in 5 minutes that’s a bad idea.

Key is to match her energy.
