You likely have a problem with self-worth and self-esteem. I have the same problem and nightly meditations have helped. I know it sounds kind of dumb, but having that intrinsic self-confidence (you're awesome because of who YOU are, not because of how people perceive you) will change the way you interact with everyone, including women.

Aye man, even if you embarrass yourself just do it

I always break the ice with the exact same thing each time

"I like your shoes" it works for me, for multiple reasons

1.I like shoes

I follow up with "what kind of brand" and that gives them some time to think about it while I think about the next thing I say

"Are they comfortable for standing all day?"

Then sometimes they'll say just a yes or a yes with more insight like "yeah i work in healthcare so it's great on my feet"

Boom next lead, ask her about her job in healthcare and get to talk to her longer and make it more comfortable

If it's just a yes then I say something like "hey that's great, I'm on my feet all day at work so I'm looking for something more comfortable"

Most of the time they'll ask "oh what do you do for work" and go from there

Get her name, introduce myself, maybe talk a little more and try to close

If not or I can see this getting more and more dry and her being unreceptive or closed off then I start to pull away and just leave it be.

Don't worry Bro, it's good that you take steps towards what you want.

Here's something I did recently that helped with approaches: I took part in a socializing event in the city I live in and a lot of people showed up.

Among these a few girls caught my attention. The event involved getting into groups of 4 and answering questions. So I did my best to get into the groups with those girls and after the event I went up to them, told them I enjoyed our little interaction and that I'd love to keep in touch and then asked for their Instagram.

If you find similar events in your area, go for it, it's a lot easier to approach when you already interacted with the girls you like. The context helps too.

read rules of the game my dude; you gotta start at the real bottom; first smiling at random girls; talking to people ; clerks at stores ; cashiers; people on the phone; then start by giving complements to girls; whether fake or real like nice shirt or nice shoes; all the way up to actually opening a single set
