Но такое чувство, что ты не из Беларуси, потому что я нигде у нас такого не видел, у нас девушки никогда так не делают, потому что они сочувствуют через что мы проходим. У нас нет таких радикальных феминисток, как на Западе и в России, потому что у нас в целом достаточно gender equal society, каких то систематических нарушений прав женщин я у нас особо не наблюдаю, да и в принципе еще они на пенсию на 5 лет раньше выходят и наказания за преступления у них вроде более мягкие, так что они наоборот в лучшем положении поэтому они редко такое делают

Vorsha lol 😂, i mean its close to Russian border indeed but I didnt think people there are much different, I never seen red pill tradcons in Belarus in general among young people, same with feminists, its not as popular as it is with Russian youth

I mostly chat in English as well so I dont mind lol. Do you still live in Belarus, and if not where, and when did you leave? Because i am really wondering where did you learn such good English? I rarely see Belarusians speaking such good English, especially those not being from Minsk. I lived in Washington DC for a few years, and even though i was going to a Russian embassy school, I was exposed to English environment a lot so now I'm pretty much bilingual. Many young people in Russia and Ukraine can speak good English but here not so much i would say

Oh yeah people are really different across the country, dudes around grodno are way more open minded then those living by russia, well for my English - has been using it as my main language for anything on the internet/digital since like 13 yo,mainly thru video games, single player or mmos, can’t even figure out a reason why besides the fact that majority of people surrounding me were and still are the so called “vatniks”,of course there are some great people but they’re vastly outnumbered , i’m sure glad i started learning so early lol. Unfortunately still reside in belarus, mostly making money and hoping it either gets better here, which is well, unlike, or when i have enough saved up move to EU/US, and if i’m pretty close to the end of my “can’t leave” period due to something politically related, so i will be seeking asylum, cause I was actually persecuted by like 90% of legal persecution, political opinions, orientation and other factors, not fun stuff. Hoping in a couple of years when trump goes and some policies get reversed or EU finally opens up their eyes and realises that forcing people to stay in a co-terrorist state isn’t really the wisest decision I’ll be seeking asylum there, cause i don’t wanna feed the beast that hates me to the bone by paying them to build up police forces and empower KGB even more

Finland's priority is security. Finland is more equal when it is not occupied by Russia. Having well-functioning armed forces is the primary concern. Hamfisting gender equality would possibly jeopardize the functionality of the army, so any drastic change to the structure needs to be implemented with great care and vision.

Finland implemented voluntary service for women in 90's, and ever since the number of female applicants have been on a steady rise. There has been many adjustments to the service to better accommodate women.

There has been number of proposals for gender equal service, but none has been accepted as of yet. Department of Defense is working on mandatory draft event for all genders. So far it has only been mandatory for men.

But make no mistake, there is a clear trend towards women's mandatory service. But like all things in Finland, it's done with great consideration and preparation.

Yes, yes I do believe. I get to enjoy one the best nation on earth, in exchange for the promise to defend it against foreign invasion. It also guarantees that my neighbour does the same, and we will fight together.

Army in Finland is very different from some other armies. Due to mandatory service, we get the full spectrum of citizens, not just the sadistic nutjobs. My fellow servicemen might be an NHL player, Formula One champion, a doctor, a mason or a local politician. Training is not based on humiliation and abuse like in some other armies.

Conscripts are also strictly reserved for defense purposes. In no cases are they sent abroad, even if NATO article gets triggered.

Why are women not included? Because it costs more money. Because women are harder to replace after the war. Because men make better soldiers on average.

Is it fair? No, but neither is Russia. Finland can only exist if it has strong enough army to stop Russian invasion, that has been looming over Finland ever-since it's independence.

As is evident in Ukraine, Russia can not be trusted or reasoned with. They only understand power.

Should we move towards gender neutral service? Yes! Should we do so for the sake of gender equality? No. We must do it to strengthen the national defence.

"One of the best nations on Earth" isn't saying much when your culture grooms half the population to believe they're disposable to women they never met and property lines.

Countries like Ukraine have had plenty of opportunities to draft women into noncombatant positions to help the war effort but chose not to. There are more foreign male volunteers in Ukraine than there are native females. It's not always about necessity.

Because women are harder to replace after the war. Because men make better soldiers on average.

And women are better at MAKING soldiers than men. Female disposability can exist to strengthen the country as well. Send them to camps to teach them about motherhood and creating future fodder and baby makers.

Should we move towards gender neutral service? Yes! Should we do so for the sake of gender equality? No. We must do it to strengthen the national defence.

Or both? Your country sunk too much money into feminist policies to not owe the men that shred of respect.

true equality, and the only real one, is unachievable for many reasons, but first of all - biology, men and women have different biochemistry, hormones, bone mass, fat distribution, capabilities, role in reproduction, offspring relationship, etc, and also a major biological factor - biochemistry ,which impacts thinking, decision making and basically - the entire person and who they are. It’s diffident for various, evolutionary and social reasons. Nowadays the differences in biochemistry are arguably less, but it’s a problem, a healthy male and female are very diffident in their biochemistry and all other factors. Just to point out how important biochemistry is - it might be one of the major causes of schizophrenia, some might even argue the only cause, but it’s uncertain, an illness, I unfortunately have (tho mine is very tame, thank god for that).

I would like you to clarify a few things here

First of all, are you implying that the cause of mental illnesses, like as with the one you mentioned, is because of biochemistry overall (in general), or because as you said 'nowadays the differences in biochemistry are arguably less between genders'?

I would also like for you to expand on this thing above, as to how do you know that biochemistry is becoming less different, and if thats the case (which I'm not sure is true) which problems does it create

And while men and women are obviously biologically different, I think the social differences are a bit overblown - there are indeed some differences, most of which are based on biology, but I think we are socially the same for the most part, we mostly have the same needs, same problems, same emotions, etc, not to mention that every person is different and has their own character and characteristics

And, even though we are biologically different, we can create an equal society and a world where governments make all laws gender equal without disadvantaging one gender over the other because by most constitutions we are equal citizens after all

Well first of all, equality before the law is very much possible, yes. But it’s not full equality - because it’s just laws(not to say they can’t have a huge impact, they do) Biochemistry is less different nowadays which is caused by various factors, from suspected (microplastics impacting the amount of estrogen made) to obvious ones, men no longer working as much manual labour as they used to, not necessarily bad all the time tho, but industrial revolution did indeed shift humanity a lot, women nowadays are more often in leader positions, which impact the amount of testosterone they have, same with men working less and eating less healthy, honestly it’s an insane amount of factors on all fronts, too much variables to account for, but before all, microplastics have confirmed links to problems (they have breached Blood-Brain barrier, and i don’t think anyone considers floating, toxic chemicals in their head a good thing), certain suspected links to fertility problems (especially affecting men, sperm quality and such). The biochemistry also affects the way men and women approach problem solving, aggression and its types etc, overall social hierarchy which (look at all men and all women social groups, and their dynamics, also look at mixed groups and their dynamics), men and women obviously face a lot of same problems, we’re living being after all, but also some very specific ones as well. Once again - equality before the law is possible and arguable have been done, but it’s only equality before the law, not “true” equality. Not to say that equality before the law shouldn’t be strived for - on the contrary it’s the only thing in “equality “ category that should be strived for.
