Cold approach alone can easily make people uncomfortable on both ends. When you approach a a woman, most common thought she has is “is he hitting on me? Is he a bad guy? What does he want from me? While the guy usually overthinks “what if she thinks I’m a bad guy? What if she says no, or even worse slaps me? What if people watch me getting rejected?” So these trains of thoughts could send weird vibes from both ends and make you and her feel uncomfortable.

To avoid this, you gotta break the ice right away; for example saying unsolicited disclaimers like “I’m just gonna be quick…” or “I don’t want anything from you, just a quick talk .…” even before you open.

Looks and dress style can definitely help. But lemme ask you something: when a stranger - like a decent looking girl - talked to you out of nowhere, do you remember what clothes she wore? Do you remember exactly her facial features that make her look cute? Do you remember the first sentence she said to you? Exactly. No, right? You probably don’t even remember what clothes you wore yesterday.

Of course I’m not saying you should dress like a bum. But I personally believe how you carry yourself is much more important than what you wear or how you look. That will leave a deeper impression.

Clothes you feel comfortable in and brings out the best of your looks and personality.

Doesn’t really matter what you wear if the clothes make you confident.

That said I would always avoid clothes that make you look like you are playing a role. That you are fake. Usually that means suits, tie etc

You're doing something that intimidates women, you behave OR look dangerous in some way. Feminize your apperance or behaviour. The best style is the one you like the most, law of state transference.

Whatever you do, cold approach is not welcome in 90% of the cases. Rest 10% will entertain you, but they wont date you.

Location, timing and surroundings are most important in cold approach, given that you are decent looking, clean and safe person. Just take care of grooming and dressing and you can come across as a safe and decent human being.

But unless the location, timing and surroundings permit, you wont be welcome by any girl or not even by any dude. It must be some social space, where she is not in a rush and she doesnt feel cornered or alone.
