I'm an adult woman and I'm going to base this from my experience, considering whenever there is a Discussion about Misandry, there's going to be certain women who downplay it by saying "Misogyny is far more worse," or "Misandry does not Exist." Bc here are the examples I remember from the back of my mind whenever some women make excuses for bad behaviors from Twitter, Tumblr and Reddit:

  1. When a woman is a r@pist, violent, murder, and sexually assault and harass a man.

"But women experience far more worse than men go through!

"Also men abuse men not women!"

"Misogyny is a systematic issue not Misandry!"

"Women experience more violence and sexual harassment than Men!"

"Female Victims are more demonized!"

"Based on statistics women are victims of violence and r@pe than men go through."

  1. When a woman makes disgusting or offensive sexual jokes about men or any body fluids.

"But men say far more worse than women!"

"People just like to demonize women when men are far more worse!"

"It's not that bad I'd argue I've seen more worse."

  1. When people criticize how well-known women writers write minorities, LGBTQ, and POC people in their stories and received backlash.

"People just like to hate on Women for bad writing when men write more worse than them!"

"Why do you criticize these women instead of men?"

"You're a misogynist and incel and you just hate a woman being successful!"

  1. When somebody mentions Misandry being written in a show, book, video game and movie. Some women gets mad when somebody mentions misandry and gets super emotional and angry in their responses.

"Misandry does not exist in this show and etc."

Also points out misogyny in the writing by downplaying the existence of misandry rather than acknowledging it also exists.

  1. When a guy is being misogynistic. Feminists gets mad and criticise and bash them for it, but when a woman is a misandrist it gets praised for being girl power and girl boss and feminist for hatred of men.

  2. When Yaoi stans who are women who sexually harass gay men and being homophobic and sexist including problematic hetenormative stereotypes being written in 90% of Yaoi. Yet some women make excuses that lesbians received far more worse experience than gay men.

  3. Also just look at the view count of Misandry being discussed on YouTube compared to Misogyny and I'd argue there's not as many views compared to Misogyny.

I'm saying this bc it frustrates me how some women would infantallize and make plenty of excuses for other women's bad behaviours instead of calling them out for being responsible for their actions by instead blaming the actions back to men rather than calling both of their actions. I'd argue Twitter is far more worse, since any recommendation whenever I visited Twitter have plenty of tweet posts by some women saying sexist and degrading stuff to men even worse when it comes to male victims, suicide and abortion, which is why I tried to avoid as soon as possible bc I don't interact on Twitter anymore. Also lastly I don't have an issue with women being feminists as long as they stand of who they actually fight for since Misogyny still exists and is prevalent in society for decades such as r@pe, child marriages and rampant sexual harassment in industries which I take issue with, I simply do not want the community to shut down someday and what I want is change in the system, my issue however when there are women who disguised themselves as progressive individuals have no problem saying sexist stuff against men and even worse trans men considering based from my experience on tumblr the person who has bad experiences of misandry from feminists and radfems and they doubt about transitioning bc they are afraid that feminists might lump them to male rapists and murderers and apparently it's acceptable to say Misandrist stuff to men including trans men bc it's seen as empowering. It's not Feminist to be a Misandrist, it's considered borderline Sexist and Disgusting and it's not considered feminism and progressive in my eyes. I know it's hard to treat genders as equal but people should try to see issues in both sides and support each other when in need. Anyways it's not a pick-me or internalized misogyny to call out Misandry or call out women's actions, it's coming from a place of concern from the behaviors being normalized, I also called out misogyny when I see something that is sexist, and I don't mind criticisms if I see something that needs to be changed although it depends on what situation, I just dislike accusations btw.
