And that is overdressing. I see guys walk around in their little suits with ties on, and it's so obvious they're trying to impress someone. Suits are great, but guess what, in order for suits to do what they're supposed to, you - 1. need to add flair to the suit, and 2. a suit only works in specific places.

Adding flair means avoiding wearing just a suit with a tie and that's it. Add some spice to it - maybe a scarf, wear a turtleneck instead of a dress shirt, a silk/floral shirt underneath etc. Basically, you don't want to look like a boring businessman, you need to look like an eccentric entrepreneur/fancy mob boss.

Suits work in specific places... means exactly that - if you're going to a really expensive lounge bar or club by yourself, where everyone looks like that, then yes it's acceptable. Problem is, it's very hard to stand out physically, and your social skills need to be elite-level in order to maneuver around.

If you're like most of us, aka a normal human being, then do this instead. Rather than looking like a smug dickhead tycoon, or like everyone else (aka sportswear), go out rocking a rugged yet masculine look. A good V-cut shirt, a Henley, a denim shirt or a flannel shirt, in either black, white, navy or grey. Jeans - either black, navy or grey (definitely not skinny though!), and regular black boots to top it off.

This style is not only unique, in a sense that you'd very rarely see a younger guy wear something like this, but it simply radiates "grounded" energy, and won't make you seem not stylish or like a cocky prick. That said, in order to truly rock (and I do mean rock) this style, you need to hit the gym. All of the tops items I mentioned above look just extraordinary on a guy with good arms, shoulders and chest. So, get your pump on, and then hit the town!
