Its because the financial living conditions of the child might be elevated by the dual income. Or if the child bonded with him as a father figure.

But yes it is fkn shocking.

This is why men need to be careful of being a step dad. Because if you leave the home the mother can come after you for child support to your non bio step kid/s.
