Saw a short on YouTube and a guy was talking about this and it's true. You're expected to make enough money to support a woman, to even date a woman, you (usually) need good money, a steady job and sometimes even your own house. You need to be in decent shape, you need to look good, you need to be funny etc etc etc.

You need to constantly give and give and give for women. You need to do and be more, because its never enough. And yet woman (usually, not always) are never enough for men. And (usually) as men we don't ask much. Three things are all we (usually) want.

Respect, love and understanding. And many times women have trouble giving just that.

We are expected to give more, and yet we can never receive the bare minimum.

And even when the woman you're with is amazing and understanding this can still be an issue because lots of those things you're still expected to give, and this may not even be her fault; it's just what society has led both men and women to do. Men sacrifice and give and not only is it not appreciated, but it's expected. Women rarely sacrifice, and when they do you're called a horrible person for "ruining" her life.

So to the men reading this, don't ever forget, if you're not enough for women early on, odds are you'll never be enough. And to women reading this, just be more understanding, be more willing to come to compromises, and let's learn to treat each other the way we both deserve to be treated
