A few days ago, I went into a burger place with my friend and my dog.
The girl behind the counter was cute, nice to my dog, and we had a couple moments where we smiled at each other.
Maybe just being nice, but it made me curious.
I overanalyzed if I should try to get her # and just froze up. Didn’t occur to me to just slip her my # on a receipt or anything like that.
I live 35 minutes away from the burger place and just trying to decide if it’s worth it to go back in with my dog and try to be cute and give her my #
I’m also worried I’ll be too serious or nervous or whatever and act weird. My perfectionism is definitely acting up.
I'm great at convos and chatting with random people, but this situation + a cute girl just has got me being like "oh crap what do I do."
Some advice, pep talk, encouragement whatever would be nice.
Most of my dating situations come from the apps so trying to navigate this at someone's workplace is hard.
Usually I'd just get in an organic convo and then be like hey let's connect on FB, or let's text etc... it's a little more awkward when she's working and it's hard to get into a natural convo. Or maybe I just have the perception that that is the case.
