I have a friend who was in Dubai (UAE) 4-5 years ago and approached a tourist german woman. After a few minutes of talking, he grabbed her hand as part of a routine, spun her around and moved closer to her, and then grabbed her by the waist. Guess what? He was arrested for 30 days just for that and the lady was also taken to the police but released after a few minutes. The UAE is a fucked country, the cops appear out of nowhere like a ninja in movies.

I hope for you that you know really well the culture and religion of these countries, you might end in serious/deadly troubles even for something that you think it’s “normal” in your country.

I suggest you to ask your coworkers how it works there. I’ve heard that you need to get somehow authorized by the girl’s dad or brothers, before you can even think to date sone girl.

Cold approaching is not the best way. When approaching women you need to make sure you don't put them on a pedestal but instead see them as an equal. Don't try too hard because they can perceive that and they'll find it unattractive. Be confident. Don't be desperate. Act like you kinda don't care. You need to have a mentality where the outcome of your interaction won't affect your self esteem or confidence.
