I am the one who filed, but it has become crystal clear that she's wanted this way more than I did. We finally have a mediation date set for 9/11 but she keeps saying she hopes we can settle it before then because she's beyond ready to get out.

However...

She says we're not in agreement on "some things" but will not tell me what those are. I know she's wanting child expenses to be split in a different way than I do, and neither of us are budging on that.

Is there even a point to having my attorney work on a settlement agreement before mediation if I already know we're not going to settle before then? It just seems like a waste of time and money if we're less than a month out. Financially, delaying actually helps me in the short term.
