Many rape laws and school rape codes define a rape victim as being penetrated and a rapist as one who penetrates. So in heterosexual PIV intercourse, only the woman can be the victim and only the man can be the rapist by definition. His consent by this definition is irrelevant since he’s not penetrated, only her consent matters, and these days it’s easy to claim that consent at the time can be retroactively be invalidated.

I can’t say for sure that’s what she’s referring to, but it’s a good bet.

It's straight up idiotic because both parties are somehow stated as being equal when nothing's wrong but lateron as unequal when problems arise

But idiotic are many things humanity does

IMO a human generally can't invent something without causing other problems -can't take something without ruining something different

Don't exspect such unfair views to dissapear in the next years with how limited the ressources of the human brain and humanity as collective are

Legally, what she says is complete bullshit. Consent is a gender neutral legal concept.

Effectively, it's completely true. Nobody gives a single fuck about men's consent, from equality advocates to judges presiding over the cases.

It's sort of how like Safe Haven Laws generally say something about "the primary custodian and caregiver" and nothing about being women, but then every explanation of who the primary custodian and caregiver is defaults to women with no allowances given to men in similar situations.

So while men and women are "legally" equal on paper, in reality if a man tried to abandon his kids to the state rather than pay child support to the mother, he'd be in jail before the firehouse even opened the door to see the swaddled baby waiting outside.

There've been a small handful of cases where the father has tried to unilaterally cut the mother out of the decision to raise their children, as is allegedly his equal right under Safe Haven, and they all ended exactly as you'd expect.

Ask this professor if there are cases in which women "change their minds about consent", research and take it, they don't care how many men are harmed in the process of "making the world safer just for them"
