My buddy lives in Guam, the attorney told him the law is 50% of savings from time they got married. My question is; he receives a housing/ living allowance of $3k a month from his company. It basically just sits in an account and he doesn’t do much with it. If you add it up for the marriage it’s about $150k. He’s a cheap bastard so he saves a lot, does this count towards savings since he was just paying for rent out of his normal paycheck? Or can this money be exempt from her claiming? Thanks
