We can only make an educated guess at what a man would theoretically have received. What is well documented however is that our judicial system overall is less likely to incarcerate women and when it does, gives them lighter sentences.

Our prison system also spends far more on women prisoners than men, with less crowding, nicer facilities, more services, etc.

The average sentence for rape is 4-19 years in the UK, if we look at the lightest average sentence (4 years) and how the majority don't even serve full time, rapists absolutely serve 2 years in prison on average in many cases.

The UK seriously needs to get stricter on rape and sexual assault for both men and women, the sentencing is ridiculously light.
