Yeah so this is abit of a philosophical and religious take. How blinded are people are beauty? According to philosophy beauty falls under "Aesthetics" and is simply described as something that is pleasurable to perceive. Without being vain I've noticed this. I'm a Tutsi so I stand at 6'4 and tend to wear 3 piece suits because I'm an Economist and sometimes the sexual tension between me and random women is insane because some find me handsome. I'll address the fairer sex too but let me dive into religion first. In the Old Testament the hottest passion fuelled love story was that of Samson and Delilah. Samson had a weakness for Philistine women. They hooked up passionately and Samson lost his wits. He should have known better than to trust a Philistine considering his people the Israelites were being oppressed by them. Was Delilah so hot that Samson unwisely let down his guard? So what does it mean to be "Blinded By Beauty"? I've noticed women are more masterful at the art of beauty. Look at the whole cosmetics industry. So how do people entice one another by being pleasurable to perceive? How real is outer beauty? Cant it also be an illusion? Simply an appearance? I see this with my own gender. Us males go insane for attractive women. But at the same time beauty can also be found in something like a mathematical equation. Its odd to think about. Thoughts?
