I don’t think it’s wrong to admit it’s both, same for a woman. I wanted my kids and didn’t want to pay support because then I knew I wouldn’t be able to provide for them the same. I was able to get full custody and my ex owes me CS, but I would gladly give up the support if she would take them on weekends or something.

And same for a woman, they want their kids AND they want the money. It’s not wrong to want both, but it is wrong to accuse someone of only wanting custody to avoid paying.

I got accused of the same thing, and then I offered to pay child support at 60/40 in her favor if I got 50/50 custody. We ended up going to the hearing and it ended up 55/45 in her favor. Still not what I wanted, but I can't afford the full trial for 1 day extra a month.

Yeah my ex tried claiming I only wanted them shaded custody for money. It's actually projection A lot of the time. Money has always been overly important to her. She's the one that always brought up money and after sh le tried making accusations against me regarding the my kids the psychologist only found out that the thr kids knew too much about what she was having to pay me to keep trh house
