Just approach, compliment, wing it and try to number close within 1-3 minutes. Talk about anything, it doesn't matter. Being deregulated and direct is ideal

I recently had a bit of an energy dip after a difficult stretch at work and was struggling to get back into approaching.

This was also after a period where I was forcing myself to open direct without any warmups (did around 100 approaches like this) and I burned out pretty hard but when I got back into it my skills increased massively. (Warmups are great but they can become a bit of a procrastination ritual if you rely on them too much).

My ”reactivation” formula was to ask 10 questions, give 10 drive-by compliments (don’t try to chat or close) and do 10 direct opens (chat and close unless the girl explicitly rejects me).

I decided not to do this sequentially, I asked 4-6 questions right away, then did a drive-by compliment, then two direct opens, then went back to warmups, then transitioned towards doing more direct opens towards the end of the session.

I dragged my feet a bit towards the end of the session but it took less than two hours overall.

Depending on what you can reasonably do and how much you have already approached you might have to do less than this (maybe 5 questions - 8 compliments - 3 “real” sets or something like that); I can’t really tell you what your exact training routine should be. But you should start thinking in these terms if you are serious about improving.
