I actually agree with him on that point. Until a person is married, they have no obligation towards the other. Truth be told, to break up with someone before marriage is far more respectful and loving that to divorce that person after marriage.

That said, just as a woman has no obligation towards a man until they are married, the man has no obligation towards the woman until they are married either. That's the part feminists like to leave out.
