We see this everyday. When someone sees a couple walking down the street. They are quick to say how lucky the boyfriend is for having a beautiful girlfriend. Despite the couple being strangers this person doesn't know at all.

I have a lot of female progressive/feminist family members. And they always ask me if I think a certain female celebrity is pretty. And I always tell them I don't speak about people's appearances. And they always find this odd. Which is very hypocritical to me.

I mean, if we want to live in a society where women are not valued for their looks. Then what's the point of putting a spotlight on women's beauty?

I bring this up because this is important for men issues. Because Feminists will blame men for women's insecurities. Saying that men created the patriarchy and high beauty standards. Basically Feminist Cakism. Or Schrodinger' s Feminism. One minute women are these empowered independent bosses who don't wear makeup for men's validation or approval, they do for themselves. But the next minute women feel pressure to wear makeup for men, because of the patriarchy's high beauty standards.

This same cognitive dissonance happens with objectification too. Note it's ok for women to sexualize themselves, and still get offended when they get unwanted comments from men. But it's not ok when women whine about the male gaze, while still wanting to benefit from the male gaze by catering to it.

I see this behavior is common with a lot of Feminist porn stars like Mia Khalifa. One minute they are talking about how empowering porn is for women. And years later they are talking about how evil men "forced" them to do porn because of the patriarchy.

Even the popular streamer Pokimane plays this game too. At first I thought it was only red-pillers trying to create a weird conspiracy theory about Pokimane sexualizing herself on purpose. Only to find out Pokimane actually does play into it.

Sorry if I'm being vague here. But Pokimane is a popular Twitch streamer who is constantly complaining about men sexualizing her online, and how she hates it. But she still does this attention seeking shit, like randomly shaking her ass, or posting a picture with the caption "At my brother's wedding", while the picture is just her ass. I'm serious. She actually does shit like this. This wouldn't be bad, if Pokimane didn't paint all men sexualizing her as creeps or dangerous.

Side tangent here: And also Pokimane is friends with a woman who SA a man. And she has started to defend Amber Heard publicly recently.

Again this is important for men issues. Because men are always being demonized in society. With people assuming the average man is a creep or rapist. But yet the same women still encourage this behavior though.

Therefore putting men in this double bind, where they damned if they do, and damned if they don't. A catch 22. Where men are considered these predators or creeps who dehumanize women by objectifying them via the Patriarchy. While men are also considered odd, an Incel, misogynistic, or even closeted gay for not sexualizing women. That's the way a woman like Pokimane or Mia Khalifa would actually react if some men didn't sexualize them.

It's almost like a bait or trap. Where a hunter puts food for the prey to see. My friend had a similar story to this analogy. Where a woman with booty shorts would constantly walk past him with her but in his face. They were sitting next to each other on a plane. I hear so many gym stories of men talking about women working out so close to them while they are half naked.

Again this all seems like bait. If the man takes the bait, he is called a creep or predator. And if the man doesn't take the bait. He is told "why are you gae?".

Off-topic, but still somewhat related to this topic though. There are studies about women not being able to tell the difference between misogyny and equality. Somehow ironically thinking benevolent sexism is pro women.

I had one of the most crazy experiences of this in high school. Where there was this popular girl. Everyone liked her. She would get compliments everyday in the hallways when walking. Note I don't know this girl. But it was obvious that she was very popular.

I was a quiet kid in school. I sat alone at lunch. One day this girl decided to go all the way to the back of the cafeteria, next to me at the table I was sitting alone at. I had earphones on. So she had to bang on the table to get my attention. And then she told me "Why don't you like me?". At first I was confused, because I never interacted with her. But I just told her "What I don't know about you?". And I put my earphones back on. And she just did an awkward giggle.

My point in bringing this up. Is that again this a perfect example of the study. Because this girl had the impression that I didn't like her, because I never showed her compliments like everyone else.

In conclusion. How all of this tie together. We live in a paradoxical society that demonizes men for acknowledging women's beauty. While also judging men for not acknowledging women beauty too.
