A woman normally doesn't have to worry about the highest level of escalation, which is physical altercation. They aren't held as accountable socially.

Imagine how much differently you would view everyday life if you didn't have to think about fighting other men (aka dealing with consequences of your actions).

With the examples you provided, this is hypergamy. It's like asking a man how he can fuck two women at once and only love one of them. It's how women are wired. When they find a better man, that in itself causes them to lose respect for the last man. That's not even factoring what amounts of respect lost caused her to branch swing in the first place.

The president calls every man in America and secretly tells them that tomorrow, the stealing wallets from women will be legalized and morally accepted andeven encouraged for some "greater good" or whatever.

Not all men will participate. Not all men will actively steal for every woman they meet (appearances and all). But now every woman has to be wary of all men's propensity to steal from them at any time.

Why?

Hypergamy and Briffault's law. A man is only as valuable as his current value, not any previous value he might have offered. Honour and loyalty are male constructs -- they do not come naturally to women. All female ideas of loyalty are taught, not innate, and hence not as strong.

Women are social, herd creatures. A negative social reputation is death to a woman. Historic roots in evolutionary biology. If a man is accused of being a rapist, then she is known as the woman dating a rapist. Doesn't matter if it's true -- the social stigma is there, and to a woman that matters more than any truth.

For the same reason men also do it to women. There is no scientific reason for the fact that most people are just shit. All you can do is rise above it and make sure you're not one of them.

This is an question that cannot really be answered as we don't know the details of the relationships you mention and what goes on behind closed doors. Its easy to jump to a conclusion that either the husband is an abusive as#hole or the wife is an abusive as#hole. you cannot really judge the situation very well being an outsider.

This is what she's evolutionarily designed to do. There is an unconscious force moving a woman away from situations that would limit her safety and reproductive success. Women can have a surface level morality that is similar to what men have, but when the shit hits the fan, unconscious processes begin to take place in her mind to move her away from danger (danger can mean inferior genetics, disease, physical danger, abandonment, etc.).

Other men start to become more attractive to her, your flaws become more obvious, she feels vulnerable and threatened, the good memories start to dissipate and bad ones start flooding her mind.

The rationalization hamster exists so that women can do fucked up, cold shit and not be aware of how fucked up it actually is.

There are a lot of reasons for this. We can be bitter and call them out, but it's the combination of environment and male instincts that shaped their behavior.

IMHO only: I think it has to do with honor.

Not saying women are not honorable and men are, because there are plenty of women with honor and men without. But I feel that honor is a virtue more closely related with men and love/nurturing with women. Maybe because that's what we are bred for. We are supposed to pass on our genes, then go out and die in defense of our home/family/clan/society. The offspring of men with honor tend to survive, repeatedly selected generation after generation.

This is probably why a dishonorable man is looked down more than a dishonorable woman, or the flip side of the wording, women can get away with being dishonorable more than men.

Just my non-professional and non-scientific ramblings.

I can risk an evolutionary psychology reason. Women need to bond strongly with their provider to ensure the survival of their offspring. But when circumstances make said provider unfit, the bond needs to be broken. The stronger the bond, the larger the force required to break it, and the harsher the snap.
