Hello Everyone,

I got dumped and next-ed and now I want to make a clean exit. I do not want to seem hurt although I am a lot. I do not want to give any of my feelings away and just want to leave all this mess behind me.

The behaviour I seem to adapt and which I do not like, is that I am stalking her on Facebook (without being friends), checking on WhatsApp, when she was last online and some similar obsessive-compulsive outbursts. This is what I want to change and here is where my problems comes in. I think that blocking her from everywhere would be the ideal solution,so far however what I did was just mostly ignore her but it really messed up my psychology. I have calculated that I lose about 60 minutes of my day every day thinking about her or stalking on her - that is for the last 2 weeks. Also we keep in contact talking in average 10 to 15 minutes everyday about weather/work/food/diet/insert_other_random_topic_here.

I have well decided that this is over, although you all know how the man brain works, a part of it thinks that this could eventually work. I know it will not but I have this fucking voice - the same one you hear when you are silently reading a book, whispering in the deepest part of your brain.

So eventually my question can be formed like this: Do you think it is advisable for a 29 year old man who shares a small part ( around 8 people) of his social circle with his ex girlfriend to block her from everywhere and go hard next ? I mean I did this in the past when I was 20 or 22 but for now it seems wrong/immature somehow ?
