Help! 40 year old man just divorced. Ex accused me of domestic violence, which was a false claim. Court judged that I was guilty of spousal abuse so now I cannot have any contact with my daughters. She had no proof. No pictures, no witnesses, and no trips to the doctor. This accusation was the first I’ve heard of this. My girls are the most important thing in my life. Financially the judgement was for me to give ex my house and all equity and everything I owned, even family heirlooms. Plus pay her $90000 at 12% interest plus my wages garnished $2700 a month for child support. In addition I have bills of my own, rent, gas, food and essentials. I have $300 to pay for that. And my employer has recently stopped all overtime. Also my family has borrowed $50000 to pay my legal fees. I’m going to appeal this judgement by myself because I can’t afford an attorney. Pro-bono lawyers and family law help have a long waiting list and I have limited time to appeal. I am losing my apartment and my job because I can’t afford to live nearby. Please don’t tell me what I should have done. And I’m not looking for sympathy just a miracle . Thanks for reading.
