Coming back to this community for some more advice on the terrible situation that I am in my wife of 1.5 years had moved in with me in January of this year. She’s from Quebec Canada and I live in California we conceived immediately after she moved here and she is four months pregnant right now

her parents came to visit in early May.

Our marriage was always full of fights and she would usually throw a divorce at me right from the start .

now when her parents were here the same thing happened and suddenly she packed her bags and left along with her parents. She’s now with them in Quebec. before leaving my father-in-law said that he would file for a divorce . after they all left my family and I have tried to text, voice message and call her and her family but there’s no response. It’s been three weeks. even though I don’t want a divorce It seems like we are headed there. I was reading online that in case of marital abandonment, which seems to be the case here, the abandoned spouse might get some favorable treatment in family court in California. Is this true and should I file a police report? Any other suggestions?
