To be a good feminist, you have to undermine and devalue every decision a woman makes.

Absolutely, I noticed that paradox every time a woman disagrees with some feminist in question - she get instantly accused by the feminist woman that she can't just have their own analysis, thinking and conclusion about an issue and politely disagree - everyone who disagrees must be brainwashed or not know what she wants. Which is really, really ironic. And it speaks volumes about what is about women's independence and what is about unified forced narrative with set arguments.

It couldn't possibly be that the woman in wuestion loved the man, no... thr original.poster has to invalidate every decision the woman makes because she isnt shitting over a man.

Exactly, how can possibly woman love a man and decide what to do with her love life?! She must be a hidden misogynist to participate in patriarchal institution of marriage with this inclination to not subscribe to 4B.

This really sounds like it's coming from someone who's mad she isn't in a relationship and wants to dump on people who are in relationships under the guise of protecting women.
I also never understood how people who make statements like this don't realize they're infantilizing women by acting like they have no agency over their decisions or capability to think for themselves. Or they say that marriage keeps them from reaching their full potential. It's a choice just as much as it's one to be single, which is how it should be.

I feel that these kind of feminists don't really comprehend romantic love. Instead, they see everything as a game of power-dominance and Machiavellian transactions, and can't believe that a woman may actually love a man and vice versa.
That's a great point, when you have a hammer of seeing everything through prism of power-dominance, then everything else in life is a nail.

Not knowing where this came from I would guess that it was written by a man. It states a sentiment that I largely agree with. But I wouldn't say that they're embarrassed about not being a wife but they feel a compulsion to be a wife and mother, or that being single feels like failure. It's simply a gender specific innate value due to evolution. One of our core values for being a successful man is being a good provider, for women it's being a wife and mother.

It was written by a woman.

Nevertheless my point about males and females having innate core values due to evolution still stands.

according to evolution we'd still be hunting animals and eating berries and shitting in the woods.
we aren't animals anymore, get on with the goddamn times
