Just thought I’d report on some cold approaches I made recently. Didn’t pull or get anywhere on any of them, but probably my own fault.

- Was at one of those huge rest stops during a road trip. Three college chicks were walking around, pretty scantly clothed. One ended up alone next to me near the freezers so I asked her if there was anything actually good in there. She answered , so I immediately change topic into asking if she was local. Then started asking about where she was from, etc. Her two friends came over and they said they were all going to the beach. One of them was in really scampi clothes and looking DTF. Was ready to escalate to see if they wanted to hang out in the lot but the first girl gave me a friendly wave off so I cut my losses.

- Went to a local pub for some food. Ended up sitting next to a gorgeous blonde who was there solo. Got into good conversation with her but turns out she had acquaintances in another part of the bar and went over to catch up with them. Took my paper napkin ring, and when the pen with the check came, wrote my number on it and left it under her phone. Never heard from her, but pretty proud that I did some MacGyver to get her my digits.

Weak spot is my escalation game but cold approaches are more of a hobby for me than a necessity.
