Semantics don’t matter. Whether it is redpill, manosphere, misogyny, sexism, or something else… you are picking up on some wrong headed thinking that aligns to redpill so are concerned.

First thing to ask yourself is if this relationship with him is worth it. Do you want to be with someone who has these beliefs, how it impacts you?

Is he the kind of person who will listen to you and learn and adjust his beliefs or is he more inclined to be stuck in his ways and double down?

If he is open to learning, then you can teach him, if you feel it is worth your effort.

He is a little bit on the traditional roles in relationships and also on the fence about marriage and how it favors a lot of women but no men in the end.

Break down his beliefs into small chunks and drip feed counter arguments.

Talk to him about the studies that show men tend to be happier, be in better health, and live longer when married than single.

If marriage doesn’t benefit men, then how come every patriarchal society has marriage and men chose to be married?

There is no precedent for men to be forced into marriage, men choose to marry (if they like), but there are women who are forced into marriage.

Ultimately there is a difference between other people’s marriage and your own relationship. Every couple needs to discuss their expectations, desires and negotiate the terms of a relationship between them. Discuss what a relationship would look in an ideal world, as well as how it would whether challenges.

Is he wanting children? Does he understand what women go through to grow and birth a baby, and raise their husbands children - how can he view this as favouring women over men?

Women have to worry about potentially being drugged, raped, murdered, have intimate photos/videos taken and shared without consent, revenge porn, stalked, etc. These are a danger at the back of women’s mind as they date because the threat is real for them.

If you have received lewd offensive messages from men, tell him about that, and how it made you feel.

If someone is completely misogynist, emotionally more taxing than he is worth, and a complete drag to be around, are you really going to say "it's fine, at least he is not specifically redpill"?
