Hey yall, new here. I’m a DoD contractor married to an immigrant with a green card. We married 7 years ago. I tried to divorce her in 2020 but the case got dismissed. I’ve been moving around a lot and have recently met residency requirements for Florida. I’m currently making 200k a year and she has refused to work. She is swearing up and down that she is going to get me for everything I have and as much alimony as she can get from me.

I have a kid from a previous marriage. Is the court system really gonna let the wife destabilise our lives? What am I to expect and what do I do?
