My parents...have ups and downs but have been supportive of each other...even my mother earns more than father....but this I because they are of older generation...ours just suck!!!

- At my age, the only relationships I have seen involve:

- the boyfriends paying and ALWAYS treating her girlfriend, which she posts on her story without doing anything back

- Usually involves drugs, weed or drinking

- Usually has S8x in the first week

- Break up and get back together 2-6 times, with both saying their the problem yet still getting back together

- so no

No because relationships don’t last. When you’re red pilled aware, you should know that she can leave or cheat at anytime. She is never your GF. It’s just your turn. Do I have relationships I would like to have ? Sure but I don’t see that happening since the dating market has change. With the smart phone and social media out there, Women have way more options than Men. So that makes Men now have to compete for the girl they want. Is it worth it ? Hell no! Because remember, she is not your GF. It’s just your turn.

Btw, never live with a Women. It’s a nightmare! Just because she is living with you does not guarantee sex. Women are the gatekeepers of sex. Men are gatekeepers of commitment. They get to choose who they want to open their legs for. We get to choose who we want to commit to. Also remember that Woman don’t build. They just move in. Keep that in mind before you decide if you want to move in with a Women.

My great grandparents. Married 80 yes 80 years, letter from Congress congratulating them. Both lived to the ripe age of 103 and 102 .

Do you know any relationship you would like to have? A couple that is truely happy and lives like you would like to if you found the woman for that?

Nope. I can only comment on the two marriages I know something about and even come close to being good (others are a mystery, since you only see the outside). I'm older (59), so this pertains to relationships that I've witnessed for a couple of decades.

My brother has been married to a nice Christian woman for about 20 years. They get along fine, but he spends a lot of time working a job that stresses him out, and she doesn't work, because of chronic health issues over the past 5 to 10 years. They are good to each other, but my brother is in the traditional role of provider mule or beta provider. He likes it, finds his identity and worth in that role, but I would be unhappy in his situation. Plus, the house is always noisy, with people on their phones, TV going, etc. Interactions seem shallow and distracted to me. I wouldn't like that. I like peace and quiet.

The other one is a friend of mine who's married to a woman about 10 years younger than him. He has boasted about how he got a woman younger than him. He's in his late 70s now, though, and she's 65, so the bloom fell off that rose a long time ago. It's a stable marriage, and they care about each other. However, she stopped working while he carries on working, approaching 80 now, and says he will work until he dies. They still have a mortgage to pay off and kids and grandkids to support.

Some of the financial burden has come from his wife, who gets a new car every 5 years (while he drives the clunkers) and has expensive taste in houses and furnishings. And kids are expensive, too, of course. So he's stuck working until he drops, to fund all this. Like my brother, he seems to be okay with this, because his identity and worth are wrapped up in being a good Christian man, good husband and provider, and so forth.

Both of these marriages are stable and "good" by society's definition. There is no abuse, addiction, or fighting. Both people care about each other and treat each other respectfully. Both seem happy with their arrangements.

For me, though? No, I'd go crazy. Both those situations would make me miserable.

What you are describing statistically is less than 10% of relationships (the man is happy) over time. Before long she becomes work (a full time job). Your an entertainer, concierge, human dildo and handy man. Your payment for your work becomes occasional affection and bad companionship (bitching/nagging). Then it becomes lying, cheating and manipulation with the threat of the government knocking on your door. That couple you see is happy today. Statistically that is going to change real badly for the man.

Relationships are basically you running to the shops to pick up things for your girlfriend when she isn't feeling well. I don't have a problem with that but just wait until the day you are sick. You are on your knees begging, making a load of promises just to get her to go to the store for you. Everything in a relationship has a condition attached if you are a guy. It's not worth it in my opinion.

My parents had a good relationship before my mother passed away.

She was a pretty humble and understanding person and was honestly more conscious of modern female nature than my father is. They both somewhat came from poverty, worked as best as they could to provide me and mg brother and overall really loved/respected each other.

The only other good relationship i know is my paternal grandparents' but i don't know if they count because their generation's mentality is very different than today's.

Yes, I know lots of people with good relationships. Man, meets woman, is happy.

But marriage is still a bad deal because of the legal implications. Marriage is not for me. But it might be for others, and good luck to them. I wish them well.

Here’s a breakdown of my relationship:

•5 years together

•Living together

•We split all common bills (rent/utilities)

•We each have our own car / insurance

•We each work

•We each split the house hold chores I primarily cook for myself (we don’t eat many of the same foods) but I will cook for her upon request or if I’m making something she likes obviously I’ll make her some as well

•We have our own health insurance

•We have our own bank accounts

•We sleep in separate bedrooms (partly because we work opposite schedules and partly because we sleep entirely differently; hot vs cold, different preferences)

•We have agreed to not getting married legally (no government involvement)

•We will call each other husband/wife for the sake of not having to explain every 3 seconds that we’re not REALLY married by law but the only difference is we didn’t need permission from the state blah blah blah

•We have decided that we aren’t having children (adoption is possible in the future, but most likely not)

Those are the major points. I’d say our relationship is good. We’ve had some rough spots, and we have really good times.

We’re relatively respectful of each others requests and concerns about house hold issues, but we let the other do the things we do best without much input (she takes care of the bills and let’s me know how much I need to pay, I’ll fix stuff around the house when needed).

We have our ups and downs, no doubt, but we are mostly happy with how things are. Nothing is ever going to be perfect. We don’t generally say mean things to each other, we’re not physically abusive, and we basically get along.

We’re still working everything out and discovering things about each other, even after 5 years. I don’t foresee leaving this relationship, but if I had to, I believe it would be a relatively painless separation. Obviously I can’t tell the future and a lot of women change during those circumstances, but it’s not the sense I get.

This is my experience with my current relationship. I’ve had different experiences, this is the best one so far. I’m open for questions or comments.

My bestfriend & his wife seem to have a great marriage...so far. They have 2 kids, with a 3rd on the way & are generally happy. Like me he's 28 & they've been married for about 6 years. But like I said it seems great so far...

Common fallacy when using "relationship" : people are ignorant of the one with the self.

Since plenty aren't even capable of having a good relationship with themselves, it's obviously rare to find good relationships between individuals.

I have. That being said anything involving 2 different people will have disagreements. Most I've seen ignored modern cultural norms and lead traditional Christian lives. That being said the only relationships I've ever had with women that I felt good about and not in some way abused (mentally or emotionally) were purely sexual

My parents, been together 33 years, my mom met my dad when he was dirt poor and she waited 10 years to marry him. They're relics from a different time, when people believed in long term commitment and valued the smaller things in life, over having a 7 figure job or an unnecessarily large house. They're happy as long as they have each other.

I kinda wish that I could find someone like that, but I'm harbouring on the probability that I never will.
