My fiancé and I treat each other with respect, And that means that we wont put one person on a pedestal while the other has to act as a shield for mud. Some of these things are basic courtesies, but the rest are just based on men being forced to be manservents on the assumption that women are angels that are made of delicate glass. These sorts of rules are unhealthy for all genders
