Personally, I almost never use social media to talk to women unless that is where I meet them for whatever reason. I transition off to texts/phone as soon as possible. You don't want to be another rando in her sea of infatuated admirers. When a phone number flashes on her phone, you become 1 huge step closer to being "real" in her world. If you have true value you should always be pushing to make things as personal as possible to differentiate yourself.

FYI this is not the correct use of "frame".

A frame is a context or subjective reality (aka a POV) through which you see the world. So if you ask a girl where the bathroom is and she says "wow nice pick up line," the FRAME she's setting is "he is trying to pick me up / he is hitting on me." That isnt necessary whats happening, but thats her subjective interpretation of reality.

She doesn't have an "ig frame" here, she just isnt comfortable sharing her number yet, because you pushed too fast and asked for the sale BEFORE the prospect wanted the product. Do that the other way around.

For now, say you don't have IG installed on your phone because youre trying to reduce your doomscrolling but ask if she has whatsapp or another messenger.

Youre not doing this because youre trying to "take back the frame." Again, thats an incorrect usage of the concept/word. A strong frame does not mean "getting your way and refusing to compromise."

You're doing this because IG is a poor place to message women given that she likely has way more followers than you, so you're being mixed in with the hundreds of guys trying to hit her up BECAUSE THEY WANT SOMETHING FROM HER. In other words, youre being thrown into the bucket labeled "just another guy who wants something from me"

Whatsapp or other messengers are much more neutral.

Let me give you a tip that’s been working well for me. I never ask for numbers anymore and neither should you. If the conversation is going well tell her “text me and I’ll set something up” and give her your number. And poof the frame is set. If she texts you she’s interested, If she doesn’t then she’s not and she was gonna give you a headache anyways. It’s been working well for me
