In my county in Europe they add the two pensions (assuming she has one) together and divide equally. It’s criminal but that’s the way it is.

Regarding ongoing spousal maintenance for her they work on the basis of proper provision. There is however an emphasis on her working full time. The premise however is the less she works she more she gets.
