From the real world? Real interactions with people? Actually dating and learning about humans that way instead of watching hundreds of hours of people telling me how they think the world works?

I got my information from actually putting myself out there and trying as hard as I could to learn as many different ways to interact with people as I could, so I could be able to comfortably go anywhere and get along with people.

I agree with the more “self-help” sides of RP - keeping frame, amuse and amplify, I am the Prize - I came to these same conclusions on my own. You don’t earn respect by trying to make people respect you, you earn respect by confidently living a life that is so well managed that people want you to run THEIR lives as well.

RP didn’t come up with anything new there, but I’ll give it genuine props for aggregating so many gold nuggets in one place.

But its views on women are more detrimental than helpful

AWALT, hypergamy, oldest teenager, “monkey branching”, “run by emotions” - it’s not possible to have a mutually supportive relationship if you approach your partner with the assumption she’s just as much of a greedy, neurotic slut as the worst woman on the planet.

A combination of life experience, observation and social science research, for the most part. Depending on the exact topic, books and other media may be relevant.

If you're talking about influencers... that's not really a "blue pill" thing. Some of us do intentionally consume dating and gender content, but that's usually going to be for entertainment, not "information."

If, say, someone wanted to learn how to view modern dating more like me, I wouldn't know where to direct them other than just talking to me.
