26 year old guy here. Long story short I’ve failed to be a leader and acted like a bitch in my four year LTR. Being really lazy in the relationship, not leading at all, mooching, being deferential, crying in front of her multiple times etc.

However, she’s still very attracted to me and she loves and cares about me a lot. She’s still obsessed with me to the point of being clingy. The sex is still great. I’ll autistically write out the pros and cons of staying vs leaving to give you guys a better picture of the relationship.

Pros:

-Call it oneitis but I do love this girl a lot

-Good looking

-Smart

-Very cute and feminine

-Good student, very disciplined

-Good family

-Still very into me even though I’ve acted like a complete beta for years

Cons:

-Cheated on her ex a couple times when she was 19/20.

-Slept around in college. She wasn’t known for being a slut, but she was in a sorority and she partied.

-She’s a real bitch when she gets mad or doesn’t get her way, I feel like I’m walking on eggshells a bunch.

-I’m taking a hit in my career to stay where I’m at with her. I could make twice my salary in other parts of the country, and the main reason I’m staying where I’m at is her.

-This isn’t a pro or a con but she’s rich. She’s in law school and comes from a family full of rich lawyers. On one hand it’s fucked up to be a gold digger, and I’d like to think her money isn’t a reason I’ve stayed with her. On the other I think that if she’s stayed with me at my lowest points over the past couple years she’s obviously not looking for a beta-provider.

tldr: I’ve failed badly as a man in my LTR, but she’s still attracted to me and I love her. As I work to better myself as a man, should I next her or can I save the relationship?
