Hello all I guess I'll start by saying I'm not just looking for a quick fuck. If possible I'd like something long term.

Anyhow, this girl I met we've been talking a lot and I'd flirt and shit and all seemed to be going well. I went to her house, and we played video games and watched movies together.

I've been texting her and things seem to be going well. I went to her house last Thursday and tried my luck; putting my arm around her and holding her hand and shit and it all went well.

At the end of the night I was gonna go for a kiss but her parents were there (were in college) so I didn't go for it.

Yesterday we played some video games together and she told me she's got a long distance boyfriend. She said she's tried to break up with him to no luck but she's holding on in case something happens.

She said I'm 100% her type and she really really likes me. She said if she wasn't dating this guy she's date me in an instant but she's dating this guy and hopes we can stay friends.

She then thanked me for being there by her as she's been depressed and going through shit. I said I don't wanna be a part of it (emotional tampon much?)

So what do you guys recommend doing at this point? She hid she has a boyfriend and she's probably not gonna break up with him in hopes something works out.

TL; DR: I've been talking to this girl slowly getting more comfortable with her. It definitely seems like we had something going, until she told me she's seeing a long distance BF she's unwilling to break up with in hopes of things getting better. What should I do
