Why do girls cheat?

Women frequently cheat, way more than men. It's nothing new; one of my history professors actually did some research on frequency of cheating and it was still very high for women even in the 1800s.

The idea that partners don't cheat and always stay faithful has always been some disney myth (although there's the rare few that DO always stay faithful). It really goes both ways, but obviously women have the advantage.

That's why as a man, you must ALWAYS continue improving yourself and ALWAYS be willing to walk away from a shitty relationship and move on..

Women don't understand concepts like loyalty, honesty or honor
If they find somebody who's more alpha than you and they think you find find out / there won't be consequences for her, she'll cheat
If you're so fucking beta you won't even leave her, she might as well just tell you (like that girl did).

Because women feel they need to get married for the security. They've been socialized to think they need a man to provide for them and so they find a good one and manipulate them to get that ring.

Then years later they realize that they don't love this man and what's more that they don't need him. They go into panic mode realizing that they could in theory spend the rest of their lives with this man that they may have grown to hate. And so they lash out and cheat for a number of reasons:

They want to enjoy sex again.
At some level they want to be caught so that they can get the fuck out of their bad relationships.
They come across some man that shows them what real love and really great relationships could look like (whether the man really loves her or not).
They go into desperate housewife mode where their life really has no purpose but to please their husband and manage her husband's things (house, food, kids?, etc.). They panic realizing that they could spend the rest of their lives being a glorified maid and they seek excitement through being unfaithful.

I'm not trying to start something but I dont think this subreddit can speak for every women. I've been in bad relationships before and I never cheated. no matter how bad it got. I know most of you will disagree with this but I've dealt with more men cheating on their SO then the other way around.

I really think that once you find the right girl she won't hurt you like that, and that she will be just as loyal as you.

Women don't love like men do.

8 years feels like an investment for a man, you've worked on it for 8 years and feel as if every bit of effort you put into it strengthens the relationship.

Not so for women, you're either a provider (she feels anxious to leave you) or a lover (she has genuine desire to be with you) when the Gina tingles override the anxiety of losing a provider the women cheats.

Relationships are a mix of provider/lover. Blue pill relationships are more likely to be provider though.

Forbidden sex reminds us of initial forays in sex, or at least evoke the same kind of feelings. Personally I think the guilt/shame attitudes about both get very muddled so both seem thrilling and wrong together as a kind of multiplier effect. Oh, and there is an opportunity factor here as well. Have known guys who were happy to hook up with only married women.
