Doesn't anyone make its own goals ? For example, for dude 1 it will be just sex. For dude 2 it will be finding "the one" to share its life with, for dude 3, finding a bisexual submissive stripper, and so on and so on. Just think about it and set your own!

[–]ayeswideschutt 7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The goal is different for different men. But a man who lacks access to sex will likely have sex as his main goal. Once a man has his sexual needs consistently satisfied, he will be much more clearheaded about his other needs. The sexually satisfied man will see women much clearer, and may develop other goals, such as intimacy, companionship, etc.

Interestingly, women are always telling men that men need to appreciate women for more than just sex. But most men can only do that when they are getting plenty of sex.

[–]2Overkillengine 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That is for the individual to decide.

I switched from having almost all female friends to almost all male friends a few years ago and I realized something: Male friends take up less time and less resources and are generally more beneficial and helpful to have in your life than female friends are.

I get everything I need in friends from men - conversation, intellectual stimulation, work out advice, applicable advice on women, life, anything... camaraderie - and on a level no woman has been able to provide.

That said, what do you think?

[–]Blankworry 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Obligatory response http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXw6znXPfy4

On a side note, like everything in life, moderation is key. I've worked in highly male and female spaces and each has its pro's and con's. There are sometimes when I am just sick of seeing my guy friends and all I want is to have the pleasureful company of a woman. On the other hand, there are times when I want to spend time with my guy friends so I don't have to deal with drama or bitchyness.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This right here. I have not found one women that provides any value as a friend. All they talk about is their life problems, and they try so hard to have a stimulating convo, and it's cute that they try. But it just isn't stimulating when you ask them why they think certain things and they constantly retort "I don't know."

I've tried being friends with girls I was attracted to in the past, and it didn't work ever. I can see it working with women you aren't attracted to, since you're not attracted to your male friends. If you're attracted to a women it's best to go with what you want from her (most likely sex) get rejected and move on, or fuck her silly and plate her.

[–]silverwyrm 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

That's odd, my female friends take up way less of my time than my male friends. My original question was in regards to romantic interactions with women.

[–]1mr_throwz 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yes, the end-game of romance is sex. I don't know many people who pick up games and intend to only play half way through each one.

"Romance" is the fancied up idea that men want to have hot sex with virginal women and are naturally inclined to be good to our partners.

[–]silverwyrm 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Why is it the end-game? That seems to imply that everything else is just sort of a build-up to sex, rather than rewarding experiences of their own.

Guys, it's begun. This sub has hit it's peak and now it's just gonna decline from all the uneducated new subscribers that won't read the fucking sidebar.

Any suggestions for a new sub to transfer to?

If you ever want to have a sexual relationship, you need start by going after that.

You need to polarize yourself as a sexual being. Kino, making intentions clear.

If you start by building an emotional relationship you will most likely get friendzoned. Then you will be a time ho.

Having friend girls is fine and can be advantageous as long as you're honest with yourself that you aren't trying to sleep with them and don't spend them any extra attention.

[–]silverwyrm 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

What do you mean by "polarize yourself"?

[–]whatnowtrp 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Set a precedent - an expectation that you are interested in her sexually by doing something that guys who are interested in her sexually but too afraid to do something about it (like kino, etc) won't.

[–]16 Endorsed Contributorbankruptedcasino 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

For me, the ultimate goal of any interaction with a woman is respect.

I want her to respect me. At a minimum, I want her to not want to disrespect me.

Women who respect you will treat you with dignity, and they won't give you the mountains of shit that women who don't respect you will give you.

Sure, some women who respect you won't fuck you, but that's their loss and I couldn't care less about them after they've indicated it's a no-go. Moreover, they're probably basket cases anyway who are more attracted to men who beat them into oblivion for not having dinner on the table at 7 o'clock sharp.

I love to have sex as much as the next guy, but in my experience women rarely give up the sex for a man they don't respect.

In any event, I'd rather sacrifice sex with a 10 who doesn't respect me in favor of sex with an 8 who does.

Women can be fun. Particularly feminine women with cheery dispositions. Not something you can get from men.

That said, 95% of my friends are male, because women typically make poor platonic friends. If camaraderie is what you're after, stick with men.

[–]silverwyrm 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Why do women make poor platonic friends?

[–]TRP VanguardCyralea 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Several reasons. A man needs someone who can sympathize with him, someone who has had a shared experience. Most women will never experience what it's like to be a man. Try explaining your adolescent frustrations over not knowing how to get laid. Watch how little she cares.

Further, women do not commonly engage in the same interests as men. I personally love intellectual debate for the sake of it; the number of women I've found who share that interest I can count on one hand. The same goes for most hobbies.

Lastly, most women in the West have a very skewed idea of what constitutes a friendship. What they're really looking for is more orbiters for validation and goodies. If she'd come over and help you move last minute, or pick you up at 3 am because your car broke down in the middle of nowhere, I'd put her on the same level as a friend. In all of my 33 years I've only met a tiny number of women who are like this, and they are still my friends today.

[–]silverwyrm 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Every female friend I've ever had has been the complete opposite of your experience. They're kind, relate to the issues I've gone through / am going through, are loyal, have helped me out of jams (including picking me up at 3 am when my car broke down in the middle of nowhere).

A lot of them have similar interests with me as well, and where we don't overlap I appreciate their differing perspective, as I do with my male friends. None of my friends (male or female) have the exact same set of interests that I do.

[–]TRP VanguardCyralea 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Consider yourself lucky, those kinds of women are rare. As I mentioned, I have a couple myself, but they are exceptions, not the rule.

If you genuinely find value in their company and have no desire to fuck them, then sure, keep them around.

[–]elektromonk 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's also possible his interests include knitting, babysitting, nursing, etc.

[–]MrRexels 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The ultimate goal of interacting with a woman it's whatever you want it to be within the limits of the law. I guess changing the law if the woman works in the goverment too.

[–]Endorsed ContributorBluepillProfessor 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Married for 20+ years and I can confirm: Sex is the ONLY thing worthwhile to pursue with a woman.

Conversational Intimacy? My lawyer/big bucks earning/supersmart wife with a 125 IQ has not shed a single photon of illumination on any political, philosophical or scientific idea in over 25 years together.

Emotional Intimacy? Hah Hah! Let me dry my fucking eyes. If you want emotional support from a woman I promise you the tingles will dry up like the Sahara faster than you can say Beta Bux!

Love? Sure, so long as you hold your dominant frame.

Now if you are asking about other forms of intimacy like handjobs, titty fucks, blowjobs, anal sex or ass-to-mouth then sure, those other forms of intimacy are certainly sought after.

Thanks for letting me clarify.

I have a deep emotional and intellectual connection with my wife practically to the point of terminal oneitis. That has been my problem. If I show indecisiveness, my emotional pain, or rely on her for emotional support there is an instantaneous loss of sexual attraction and an increasingly difficult to deal with wife as the shit test pour down like rain.

So, love is not about mutuality and the man must remain dominant in love to continue sexual attraction in most cases. Read the sidebar, seriously. Men and women love differently. There is very little "mutual" about it. Men and women have different goals, modes, methods, strategies. What is "mutual" in love?

[–]TangoAlphaBravo 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Of course not, the goal is to listen to all the intelligent things she has to say.

[–]SouthwellR 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Its up to you buddy there is no set goal for interactions with the opposite sex

[–]silverwyrm 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Doesn't TRP theory emphasize sex, though? I mean, it's right there in the sidebar: "sexual strategy".

[–]Othello314 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Why are you trying to get people to say it's all about sex? It seems like you are attempting to get a definitive answer so that you can refute it or use it against TRP

[–]silverwyrm 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm trying to learn more about TRP.

[–]elektromonk -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

what a straight out blatant lie

[–]elektromonk -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yep, that's what I'm getting from his comments. This is from the new traffic. I hate to say it but this sub's going downhill 'cause of it. That's just the nature of 'secret knowledge'--it finds a way to stay secret. Once this sub gets flooded, there will once again be a void in this knowledge for a while.

[–]Othello314 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

While that's probably true I came in with the new traffic so I can't complain

[–]kanaduhisfruityeh 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Depends on the person. One man may be only after sex, another man may be interested in something else. Or the same man may be after sex when interacting with one woman, but after something else when interacting with a different woman.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

For me, it's usually the only goal. There are times when I'm not into a woman and I turn her into a friend instead.

[–]slcjosh 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

This is really just an individual question for each man. It just depends on what YOU want. For me, Im at a part in my life where having a relationship is really not feasible. I have goals set for myself that a relationship would impede.

Other men may be interested in a healthy LTR, and there are many other men with lots of different agendas they are looking to fulfill. Its up to you as a man.

[–]silverwyrm 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Out of simple curiosity, what goals would an LTR impede?

[–]slcjosh 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There are several but the biggest, first and foremost is the success of the company Im working for. Startup life requires my full attention and availability. I might have to fly across the world/country at a moments notice and be gone for periods of time that I have no prior knowledge of. My passion for my company, my dedication, and my commitment take up most of my attention. There is not much left for another person.

The other goals are purely selfish. I want to travel as a single individual. I want to experience other countries, women from other countries. I simply love the fact that I don't have to worry about someone else's emotions or needs while I just do whatever the hell I want.

I have never felt more free in my entire life.

[–]elektromonk -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

easy, you're limiting yourself to 1/7,000,000,000th of the human population. but that's not the answer you're looking for. it just sucks that i just found this place and it's already ruined 'cause there's so many of you people in here now. shame.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Even if it's not your ultimate goal, it is nonetheless an indicator of success. Put it simply, if your wife is attracted to you sexually, she's not going to divorce rape you.
