Don't outsource your happiness! Fuck yeah. We need to love ourselves before we expect others to love us. And, in regard to your point #2, when I went through alcoholics anonymous, I learned a very very valuable little prayer that has chilled me out just like you're saying up here. It's this:

"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. The courage to change the things I can. And the wisdom to know the difference."

That one has always worked me wonders. Keep on brotha, you'll get better every day. Solid little post.

Another thing I'd mention is lifting weights. Lifting helps me get over emotional pain almost instantly. I have no idea why it freaks me out to be honest, but I got over my recent 7 month relationship very quickly in 3 days. 3 days I was able to sleep like a baby again she was obviously on mind still, but not for long. Now I'm simply not worried about break ups.

Thanks for sharing. This is the exact thing I have been going through and try to cope with with the point you layed out. However there's still that thought in the back of my head of whether she'll try to contact me again or hear from here ever again. I now I'll never be in a relationship with her ever again but just seeing her or hearing from her or just fucking her would be nice, maybe be cause she was the one who dumped me.

So any updates on that girl you were talking about in the post?
