How to deal with inappropriate IOI's?

One year into your journey you are unlikely to be seeing the kind of attention you're talking about. Shooting from the hip, I'd say that before you started working on yourself you were extremely socially isolated A lot of what you are interpreting as "IOI's" are, in fact, normal human contact.

Women can make eye contact, smile at, and engage a man socially without expressing sexual interest (or lack of it).

Congratulations on your newly-developed confidence. Now work on a more granular analysis of feminine social engagement.

Brush it off, telling 'family members ' hahahaha to stop giving you the IOI's is weird man they're probably just being friendly or impressed with your transformation. As for the girlfriend ignore it or you could create unnecessary drama with your boy.

So my guess is you don't have a ton of experience, yet. Don't mistake "being friendly" for IOIs. Just be polite and ignore.

Seems like you've swung too far the other way from where you were. Now anyone being kind is giving you an IOI, or you're making people act a fool with your mere presence.

Calm down a bit, not everyone is trying to fuck you now that you're some semblance of a confident dude.

You're still getting calibrated on what's normal. These aren't IOIs that you're getting.

Ignore them, (unless they escalate to physical, for example being swolested though after only a year I doubt that's the case).

You can joke it off or laugh without addressing it if necessary. (Friends girl gives obvious flirt, laugh and say nah, I couldn't think of you that way).

I would largely just ignore it. It'll give you a small level or social proof and help with confidence. I would only really bring it up to your buddies if they were blatantly doing inappropriate things (e.g.inviting you to come hang out alone, etc.).

Mosts of these IOIs are probably just girls no longer ignoring you and just treating you like a human being now that you're no longer "invisible."
