It happens more often than guys realize. The problem is: most guys don't have a clue they're even being hit on.

A very very low percent. There are some numbers swimming around on the internet, like only the top 5% get hit on. This is probably accurate because I read this article one time where 3 popular dating sites took all their statistical data and found that women on average thought that only 1 in 5 men had SMV5 or higher looks on their profile. There are built in mechanisms for this data, so it wasn't an isolated survey. So if women only view 20% of men as average or better (SMV of 5 or higher), what percentage of that fraction do you think they would consider date material? Women don't date average men, so it would logically dictate that a further 20% of that (brings number down to 4%) is 'highly attractive' enough to go out of their way to hit on them.

It doesn't matter because men approach. You don't need an invitation. You are the invitation.

If you just want an ego stroke it's top 20% of men.

I'm a mid to late 20s 5'9 dude who gets hit on walking around a collegetown. I'll break it down for you

30% bangable girls
50% drunk fatties
20% gay men

It doesn't happen all the time. usually when the weathers good and people are out. If you want it to happen more try having open body language walking around making idle chit chat.

Facial aesthetics 7-8/10 depending on the day
Body is improving but not fantastic. ~12% BF intermediate to advanced on lifts Dress is european/hipster

In general I pull 6s and 7s, and LTRd a 7. Slept with a few 8s and the last year or so before the LTR mostly slept with tall blonde girls and sorority girls.

I find that women my age (early 20s) don't want to float my boat and won't compliment me very often. Older women on the other half just don't give a fuck and tell me I'm hot all the time haha. Especially CO workers. I love it.

I'd count myself as being in the top 20% (just) and I get hit on occasionally. (Once or twice a month) as other posters have said, its different when women do it, they aren't nearly as obvious as men.

If a guy is over 6'4" he's probably getting drinks bought for him at ever bar. I have a good buddy who is the definition of beta schlub provider but he's 6'6" (and a bit chubby) but he always gets drinks bought for him -- by relatively cute women.

I'm 5'8", the only people who offer to buy me drinks are people who know me -- and since I don't drink, I'm the guy drinking $2 soda water lol.

In the past it has happened to me frequently. They would give me their phone numbers, without me asking for it. They would take my phone and put their number in it. They would buy me drinks. They would also ask me out.

I would say the percentage is high.
