How do you get into an LTR?

Since you are already for an LTR, don't bring it up. Let her come to you. By letting her bring up the topic, you're setting the power dynamic from the start. She came to you asking for a committed, serious relationship. Women are the gatekeepers for sex, men are the gatekeepers for commitment.

Since you are not currently in an LTR, you should also be dating other people. If you wish to push the issue with the potential LTR, use dread game. The next time potential LTR asks to hang out, let her know you can't because you're hanging out with "a friend". If she pries for more info, remind her that you are not in a committed relationship, and comment that you're surprised she is so interested in your day-to-day. This will subtly bring up the topic, or gently guide her to bringing up the question herself. Trust me, she's thought about it.

If you're not spinning other plates, or at least still dating women, either because you already hung up your dick in the expectation that she is seeking monogamy with you, or worse she's asked you to hang up your dick without committing to you in an LTR, then you've fucked yourself. Presuming monogamy is counting your eggs before they hatch. Letting her dictate your monogamy with no commitment from her is being turned into a beta.

In the worst case scenario, if you play dread game on her she may not respond. "Oh you're hanging out with someone? Cool! Oh it's a girl! Well, alright! Let's reschedule for..." If dread game didn't work... you're her plate. That doesn't mean you have to stop fucking her, but it does mean you can't consider her LTR material anymore.

You got to go big. Impress her. Save your money and buy a shit ton of flowers. Take her out to the fanciest restaurant in town. When desert comes, pop the question, but not in an aggressive way. Be timid about it. Girls think fear and vulnerability are sweet.

Make sure to tell her that you've cared for her for a long time and just couldn't keep it in any more. If you're creative, maybe even write her a poem.

She's going to play hard to get by telling you that she just wants to be friends. This is a test. You need to stick by her for as long as it takes, even if it's years. She may test you by dating other guys and having sex with them to see how you react. Stay the course. Never get angry or act entitled to reciprocation of your feelings and generosity or you fail her test and are out of the running.
