Year One (Update)

I'm pretty new to all this - found NMMNG a few months ago, started doing the work; lifting, reading, learning, lurking, etc. First, the original "Year One" post was one I saved off to Evernote for posterity and go back to occasionally and reread - the content, the tone, the voice, the message all spoke to me - it made me realize (even more than previously) that I have not been living the life I deserve to live. So for that, thank you. It also reaffirmed that this is a journey that I will take alone - I will not speak of my efforts at transformation - my wife will see action, results, and change but not why or how or when.

I think you would have been better off changing your username and laying low for a while. It's kind of weird that half of your post was written with your wife in mind - that she might be reading it. It affects what and how you write.
